Injuries to goalkeeper Michael Creek and centre back Tom Rimes contributed to the defeat.
Cardea made 2 changes to the team that beat Yaxley last week with Creek replacing Gavin Sampson in goal and Luke Penman starting up front with Adam Simons playing wingback.
Cardea made the worst possible start and conceding in the first minute after some sloppy defending.
Midfielder Shane Cooke had a chance to score an equaliser after 15 minutes but his effort was saved.
Cardea suffered their first injury two minutes later when a strong challenge on defender Rimes aggravated his existing ankle injury and forced him off the pitch with Kynan Bereznyckyj coming on.
Cardea had another chance half way through the first period when Cooke played a through ball to Daniel Robinson who passed to Penman but the striker shot over the bar.
The turning point of the match came moments later after a goal mouth scramble in the Cardea box was well cleared by Creek but saw him suffer an injury. Gav Earl had to go in goal with new signing Martin Mason coming on.
Cardea battled on until half time where they made a change and brought on Dale Moore for Robinson.
The home team started the second half much better and grabbed an equaliser three minutes in. A great shot from Daryl Patrick smashed against the crossbar and Penman got to the rebound and passed to Cooke who scored the leveller.
The score didn't stay level for long, however, as Farcet regained the lead three minutes later. Stand in keeper Earl palmed a Farcet corner out but it only went as far as the Farcet striker who tapped in.
Cardea almost levelled again on the hour mark. A cross from Cooke was headed onto the bar by Adam Simons and Patrick struck the rebound high over the bar.
Farcet added a couple of late goals to give the score a more one sided look thanks to a penalty and a free header from a free kick.
Referee Alan Swann blew the final whistle that signalled the end to Cardea's winning start to the season.
After the game joint manger Craig Robinson said: "It was a bad day at the office today, we had a lot of possession without really hurting Farcet enough, forced the ball forward too much without being patient. Something to learn from though and we need to be a lot better as individuals as well as a team next week.
"Head up and let's go again. Man of the match is difficult for completely the opposite reasons to last week. Don't think anyone really stood out."
Kev Webster added: "We were not at the races today, didn't play the football we know we can play and at times just didn't look like a team and nowhere near the team we have been. Need to pick our game back up and start again next week. Tough game next week, so need to find that Yaxley form quickly.
"No man of the match for me, wasn't deserved to pick out anyone because no one outshone anyone."
Cardea's next game is versus new boys AFC Allbright at Bushfield next Sunday.
