An injury/work/holiday effected Cardea Reserves side will look to get their first win of the season against Gunthorpe Harriers this weekend.

James Roberts, Dan Chamberlain, Dave Arnold, Jake Ball, Rob Dempsey, Dan Pepper, Adam Ward, Josh Sieley and Dan Robinson are all unavailable this weekend. Meaning this will be a much changed Cardea side from the one that opened the season two weeks ago.

This weekend’s game which proves to be a test of strength in depth for the reserves, is a massive chance for players to come in and try to secure a spot for the coming weeks, whilst trying to get that first win to really kick start the season.

Kick off at 2pm, Queens Park, Yaxley (PE7 3AU).

Oh… and still no news on Scottish import Peter Green, who is STILL awaiting International clearance, despite coming from Scotland, where the debate is still raging on as to whether Scotland can be classed as “International”.
