MEAD SCORES HAT-TRICK AS CARDEA WIN

Cardea took the lead in the 12th minute and it was a deep cross from right back Woods to the back post which was headed past the keeper by Jae Mead.

Two minutes later and Cardea had their second. A through ball from Klinkovics found Jae Mead one on one with the keeper and he made no mistake with a finish into the bottom corner.

It was three in the 26th minute. Abban crossed from the right and Thomas Klinkovics beat the keeper to the ball to prod in from six yards.

HT: Stilton United 0-3 Cardea FC

On the hour mark Cardea made it 4 with arguably the goal of the night. A great fast flowing move ended with Abban finding Nicholson-Barfoot on the by-line and his low cross was tucked home by Thomas Klinkovics.

Stilton grabbed a goal back in the 73rd minute, a ball into the box was cleared by the defence but only to the edge of the box and the Stilton midfield struck the ball into the bottom corner.

Seven minutes later and Cardea had a 5th. Nicholson-Barfoot produced great skill on the left to get past his man and clipped a perfect cross for Jae Mead to complete his hat-trick with his second header of the game.

The scoring was wrapped up in the 82nd minute when Ryley Nicholson-Barfoot cut inside and unleashed an unstoppable effort from 16 yards out.

Man of the match was awarded to David Kilby who stepped in at centre back for the game.
