For the second Hunts Cup final on the trot it was Jamie Cogings who opened the scoring, unfortunately for the Stanground Cardea full back this year it was a header into his own net to give Orton an early lead.

Stanground Cardea almost replied instantly with Josh Staggs forcing the keeper into a great tip onto the post from a half volley.

The ball was in the back of the Orton net midway through the half with Jae Mead tapping in a Kieran Hibbins flick on but the assistant's flag ruled the goal out for offisde.

On the stroke of half time the reigning champions were finally level, a Kieran Hibbins free kick into the back post found Reece Campbell in space and he made no mistake and headed home.

Into the second half and Stanground Cardea took the lead with another set piece, Josh Staggs corner was met with a bullet header from Kyle Hibbins to make it 2-1.

The win was sealed in the 90th minute when Cam Hibbins found his brother Kieran with a through ball and he blasted the ball past the keeper into the roof of the net.

A 3-1 win to retain the cup and make it 3 county cup wins in a row for Stanground Cardea.
