This years Cardea Memorial Cup was held at Powerleague Peterborough and was dedicated to Tom Rimes and Matt Sinclair who both sadly lost their nans throughout the course of the season.
The event was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone involved (apart from Chairman Kev Webster who is still struggling to walk now after his run out) and an excellent bit of fate meant that Matt Sinclair captained his team to a 1st place finish with Tom Rimes captaining second place.
Players, Coaches and Club Staff, along with their families, then made their way to The Whittle for some refreshments that were provided for us.
A total of £222.50 was raised on the day and will be split across the 2 chosen charities; Ward B12 at Peterborough City Hospital and MacMillan Cancer Support.
