After the disappointment of last week’s league encounter, the reserves return to cup action when they take on Stilton Reserves.

Stilton currently sit one place below Cardea in the league table, but they will be keen to show that the league table does not reflect their performances. They have found it a challenging start to the season, going down 3-2 to Limetree and 6-0 to Casterton earlier in the year, however they have claimed wins over both Hampton sides in recent weeks.
They will take some confidence in the result from their first-round cup game, which saw them comfortably sweep Hemingfords United A 9-1.

Cardea on the other hand coasted past Huntington Eunice in their first-round match 3-1, adding to a run of 4 wins in 5, also claiming wins against Leverington Sports ‘A’, Gunthorpe Harriers & Hampton ‘A’, losing only to a strong Limetree side last week.

Both sides had challenging starts to the season but have both picked up form & points in recent weeks, this will definitely be an entertaining game, the winner claiming a place in the next round of the cup, along with momentum for the league campaign.
