Manager Matt Robinson said: "Despite losing in the Division 2 play-off final I do feel that we deserve to be playing the next division up. Some of our performances have shown that we are capable of doing just that.

"At the same time, we know that some of the clubs we will be playing against next season are big clubs who are already established at the higher levels of the PDFL. We will certainly need to improve again and focus on improving our overall game management in order to compete.

"I’m excited for the season ahead already!"
