Cardea Ladies lose to Netherton Ladies in the cup

The ladies lost yesterday in a tough game against Netherton in the cup. The prem team controlled the game from start to finish but Cardea fought hard and the scorline didn’t really represent their efforts.

The game finished 1-8 to Netherton with Jess OSullivan scoring the only Cardea goal after an assist from Phoebe Browness.

Danni King was awarded Cardeas WOTM due to her hard work and running all game, despite playing in a number of positions.

Cardea will be hoping to bounce back next week as they host Hungate Rovers at Bushfield.
