Match Preview

Cardea host 11th place Whaplode Drove on Saturday 2nd February 2019 in PDFL Division 2 and hope to right the wrongs against Whaplode last time out.

Cardea travelled to face Whaplode in the middle of October in what turned out to be a shock result in Division 2 when Cardea were beaten 4-3 due to a few defensive mistakes.

The home side currently sit in 3rd place, 4 points behind Rippingale & Folkingham but with a game in hand and 2 points ahead of Premiair albeit having played 2 more games but with Premiair slipping up last week and a battle of last seasons promoted sides ahead next week, this week is a must win for both sides.

This weeks travelling side Whaplode are 3rd bottom but will believe in themselves as they only lost to Langtoft United Reserves by the solitary goal last weekend.
