Cardea took an early lead when a brilliant cross field pass from Woods found Kieran Hart who ran into the box and smashed the ball past the keeper.
Midway through the half it was 2-0. Fox drilled the ball across the six yard box and Cam Hibbins slid in to divert the ball into the net.
Against the run of play Polonia pulled one back with a shot from outside the box but Cardea reinstated the 2 goal lead minutes later when Hibbins set up Martyn Fox for 3-1.
A sloppy end to the half saw Polonia score 2 goals in 6 minutes to go into the break level.

The points were wrapped up in the 79th minute when Staggs found Charlie Bosett on the edge of the area and his shot squirmed through the hands of the Polonia keeper to make it 5-3.
