An early Ryley Nicholson-Barfoot direct free kick opened the scoring but this was cancelled out just 6 minutes later.
Nicholson-Barfoot put Cardea ahead again with a neat touch and finish before the game was turned on it's head by two FC Peterborough goals.
After half time the home side converted a penalty to make it 4-2.
But a Ryley/Klinkovics inspired comeback saw Cardea come away with the 3 points.
Nicholson-Barfoot scored twice in three minutes to level the scores up before Klinkovics headed in to make it 5-4.
The scoring was completed in the 86th minute with a freak own goal from the FC Peterborough defender when his sliced clearance lobbed the keeper from 20 yards.
